If you are planning for a 2 year course, spring admit won’t make any difference. If you want to finish your masters in 1.5 years, you will lose an opportunity to get summer internships because you will be done with only one semester by that time and you need to finish 2 semesters to be eligible for CPT(Curricular Practical Training), a government authorization to do summer internship.
